WebLight 5.0.3 beta is available for testing through December 4, 2008. It improves usability and compatibility with web sites requiring authentication.

• Adds HTTP Digest authentication support.
• Moves performance, notifications, and network configuration from project to application preferences.
• Adds CSS version preference,
• Fixes bug detecting link recursion.
• Makes preventing external links from being checked easier.

What's Next?

This is a beta release, there are some know problems and limitations.

Better Sitemap Support

The next release will allow you to edit sitemap priority, changefreq, and lastmod attributes, and notify (ping) search engines.

Diagnostics Window Redesign

The diagnostics window will be redesigned to make identifying the problems that you want to fix and reviewing repairs easier.

Update Help

The help will be updated after the UI changes are complete.
